The Lif3 Smartchip Works, and Here’s the Proof

The Lif3 Smartchip models we develop undergo stringent independent testing to provide the greatest possible reduction in cell phone radiation possible with virtually no loss of signal.

Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is used to measure the energy which is absorbed by human tissue when exposed to a radio frequency electromagnetic field. Under Canadian regulations, cell phones must emit a SAR of less than 1.6 W/kg.

Measuring SAR from cell phones and tablets is a complex and expensive process. We commission full independent reports from RF Exposure labs in California and EMC Technologies in Australia for individual Lif3 Smartchip models. How accurate is the safety limit?

The SAR limit was developed back in 1996 before smartphones became our constant companions. There’s no separate safety limit for children, whose brains absorb up to twice the radiation that adults do. The SAR limit also doesn’t take into account any cumulative effects of microwave radiation from our phones.

How SAR is Tested

SAR measures the effect of radio frequency fields on human tissue, so a typical EMR meter won’t do the job. Instead the test involves a humanlike ‘phantom’ shape, filled with a viscous fluid to simulate brain and body tissue. A carefully calibrated probe is inserted into this liquid at specific points to measure the Specific Absorption Rate received from the standard device, then again when the Lif3 product has been applied to the phone.

As you can see from the test results above SAR can be significantly reduced with the application of the Lif3 Smartchip.
